How Powerful are Caterpillar D10 Bulldozers?

in today’s video we are with Mcahill’s Bulldozer Service just outside of Fresno California owned and operated by my friend Josh Mahill anytime we get to visit here is an absolute treat starting to sweat a little bit we kicked off the visit the night before with some signature McKayill tri tip and after a meal we got word our first victim for the day had arrived a mint condition Lincoln limousine came from a funeral home oh wow might be locked it’s got like auto locks on it wow this This is This is not auto pristine it’s red yeah let’s hear the limiter yeah this is nice [Music] oh yeah prime and ready that’s a unit right there private private service wait so why do you have why do you have this well my buddies decided it was a good idea to go like hers on it and go follow my buddies around town and just have a good time with it and then it became unreliable once we started uh driving it off the roads so sure yeah now it’s here yeah that happens yeah yeah that’s fair [Music] oh my god was that it oh that’s it that’s it back wheels never left the ground though how are we going to get to prom now oh man you think you can fix it i think it I don’t know it doesn’t didn’t seem like it died all the way i don’t know what’s going on with you sure about that all right after a solid night of eating and breaking in the limo it was time to get some rest for crushing in the morning they’re [Music] sitting out there they’re ready to go they are ready for us okay so you couldn’t I take it you couldn’t get it to start no no we think the motor locked up on it yeah I heard we were jumping the fort it’s a rental don’t be gentle it’s a rental so let’s run everybody through before the party starts today’s menu of um items to destroy I suppose or consumables uh yeah to modify some consumables for today we have this safe right here um unfortunately I forgot my stethoscope so we’re going to have to figure out how to open it in a different manner maybe a more aggressive manner so that’s that and I’m sure there’s at least some sort of gold bars firearms maybe even the Epstein files within the safe here then we have so we can just demonstrate the the gravity of of this one it’s it’s really uh quite quite a rig it’s a Lincoln Continental limousine that we are also going to modify and then [Music] This is the one I feel most sad about a Toyota Camry uh I have a special attachment Toyota Camry cuz it was my first car mine was also silver but uh this one is not going to be so lucky cuz like I said it is our third victim for today [Music] try tip breakfast burrito first things first everybody says got comments saying “Oh I started eating i stopped watching the video.” But we don’t care we’re hungry okay hot sauce yeah I knew knew it I knew he’d have a hot sauce can’t eat anything without hot sauce this guy I wouldn’t be Mexican it’s his heritage yeah no he would never run the drone into somebody though that would never happen right because we’re in the California Central Valley there’s a lot of agriculture here there’s also lots of equipment today we’re at as I explained McKay Hills Bulldozer Services and as the name suggests they have some bulldozers so the tools we are going to use today what tools do we have in our tool box this is the first right here this is a Caterpillar D10 bulldozer about 150,000 pounds of steel we should be able to do I think something with this this is the utility player of today’s show the Caterpillar 330 excavator they use this machine primarily to remove trees citrus trees or load trees into their incredible shredders however today it’s a uh potentially a safe cracker and then we do have one more tool that is this right here a second Caterpillar D10 bulldozer about 150,000 lbs of steel nice before we get crushing what the heck does Josh do and why does he have these bulldozers in the first place well California’s Central Valley is famous for its agriculture there’s all sorts of stuff being grown here from grapes to oranges to almonds and just like any traditional crop sometimes the crop must go for new crops and that’s where Josh comes in so if a field needs to be turned over he will come in with his big machines from excavators to loaders to dozers push the vines or trees from the earth and pile them up for drying then they transform all of the vegetation into neat piles of chips with enormous grinders and then there’s the final step in the process preparing for replanting to do this Josh uses enormous Caterpillar D10 dozers which do two things they mix the chips into the earth and they break the earth up to prepare for the new trees and their roots and that is why he has all of these machines in seemingly the middle of nowhere so with some of that background established let’s get back to crushing [Music] Someone left their limo in this field and we’re not appreciative of that so we are going to express our displeasure okay heat heat drop back down [Music] [Music] heat heat heat heat heat heat we’ve made it a lot shorter heat heat [Music] has a fountain feature now which is pretty cool yeah seat belt still intact so we can still be safe when we use it again ashtay still good to go that’s very important the grill is a little beat up but we can probably find a new one on Craigslist i hope here’s the license plate tags are actually still good and then to the uh I was going to say rear i don’t think this is the rear though i think this is the front a little hard to tell now yeah that’s the front so this is the front now okay mirror heated mirror we’ll put that back on later so that’s the end result of our modifications to the limousine now to the Toyota we’re going to do this one in a um more aggressive fashion victim two we’re just going to use one dozer for this one [Applause] oh my car not my car heat heat heat [Music] heat [Music] you can’t park there my hard [Music] heat [Music] heat [Music] heat this guy know what he’s doing no so that’s decelerator it’s the opposite of a throttle oh okay so you’re at high idle now let up and I’ll throttle up yeah yeah yeah go back all right heat [Music] heat well here’s the result of the dozer running over the Camry i I think we can clean this up i think so it’s fixable get it running it is amazing how quickly it just scrunches it right down but I think you take it to a good body shop good body shop maybe a day yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah a little bit of elbow grease you’re good to go the main thing I care about is the TRD sticker on the back you know the Toyota Racing Development is it really a TRD sticker on this one trd sticker on the back bumper yeah definitely worth investing some money back into yeah see the TRD sticker on the Oh yeah yeah toyota Racing Development it’s a TRD Camry it’s a TRD Cry yeah very rare probably shouldn’t have ran it over right now we have to crack the safe now we got to crack the safe that’s going to be a challenge this Yeah this one’s the This was the easy bit now for some safe cracking we’ll see how this goes this might be a little trickier [Music] oh look at that that was easier than I thought wow now we’re have to pull it off [Music] [Music] there’s no your mom joke here we’re professionals so all you need to crack a safe is a Caterpillar 330 excavator that’s right crack all the safe you want just a bunch of concrete a lot of a lot of concrete it’s not very exciting no all the benches where’s all the money gold yeah i don’t think there’s anything in here why would somebody put concrete in their safe well I think the safe is lined with concrete they’re lined with concrete so the fires Yeah I know i’m joking wanted me to think that it was gold right well that is a disappointing end to the saga big disappointment yeah but good entertainment to open a safe great entertainment that was a lot easier than I was expecting i mean he just like what 60 seconds popped right open right open it’s You think that the metal’s thick on these and it’s really not no no no this is thin gauge material no that’s as thin as it gets it’s just the concrete in there that the concrete yeah it makes it hard to get through it right oh well flip it over and break open the door I guess yeah yeah Michael flip it and break the other side open [Music] well thanks for tuning in this week a little bit different but
